SO GLAD my sister wanted to stop here to see if they sold already cooked food...they do...shrimp boil for 10. I was shocked and amazed with the amount of food we got and how wonderfully delicious. JEWEL doing the cooking and counter was so very kind and made you feel like you were HOME...my kinda people, my kinda place. I would drive 800 miles again, just to see her and eat here again..what a beautiful person and delicious food.
Blalock’s is the best! I always get the fresh jumbo gulf shrimp, have it spicy Cajun steamed, and they pack it on ice. Every time I go to Blalock’s the shrimp is great. They have great fresh seafood. This year I bought a Blalock’s t-shirt when I was there.

I love coming back home to visit family and my grandfather requested that we pick up some steamed shrimp from Blalock’s for dinner. It was actually the first time I had been in there after unknowingly passing it for years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got 1.3lbs of medium-sized shrimp. They offered to steam them for us, they asked whether or not we wanted them cooled or left hot, and they seasoned them spicy for us! They had tons of seasonings, sauces, and crackers inside as well. Also, I liked that the prices were clearly displayed instead of just saying “market price.” I look forward to picking up some cooled, steamed shrimp to take back to Birmingham to share! Ordered a pound of shrimp they steamed to perfection. Bought their homemade dipping sauce and these amazing ranch crackers. Best lunch ever!
Bought a shrimp boil (Cajun seasoned) for 4 people to take to our beach house on vacation and it was delicious! A great price and we were all stuffed. Also bought fresh mahi and it was beautiful! Highly recommend!
Love this place! They have a 10 Shrimp Boil that is magnificent! It is unheard of to find delicious fresh seafood for such a price. I know the special pulls you in for other purchases, but I like what they have to offer. Be aware: there is a different Blalocks in Orange Beach, but they are independently operated and the Shrimp Boil special is not at that location.
